For over a year, we've been working with lenders reviewing hundreds of bank statements every day as part of their affordability assessments. Not simple personal statements with a dozen transactions - I'm talking about statements from restaurants, hotels, and construction companies. Hundreds of pages. Thousands of transactions.

What struck me was the variety. Every bank does things differently.
